Summary
Narin and Danwoo, bound by an arranged marriage, spend their wedding night in the same bed—yet barely share more than quiet company. While Danwoo seems unbothered, Narin can’t stop wondering if the lack of intimacy means something’s wrong with her. Does he simply not find her attractive?
Days pass. While wandering through a vibrant market, filled with strange trinkets and mysterious charms, Narin stumbles upon an unusual incense burner. The vendor leans in and whispers, “Just a whiff of this… and the one who breathes it in won’t be able to resist you.”
Intrigued—and maybe just a little desperate—Narin takes it home.
Later that night, she lights the incense. The scent wafts through the room, subtle yet intoxicating. Danwoo breathes it in, and something shifts. His usual calm cracks, replaced by a smoldering intensity Narin’s never seen before.
But just as she reaches for him… a hand grabs her from behind.
Startled, she turns—only to see another Danwoo standing in the doorway, eyes wide with confusion.
